ABOUT GRACE
Welcome to Freedom with Grace Coaching. My name is Grace Thomas, and I am a certified trauma-informed life transitions and post-traumatic growth coach, as well as a SPIRITUS breathwork and somatic healing facilitator. My mission is to walk alongside you through life’s transitions—whether you’re standing on a mountaintop or navigating the valleys below. Healing isn’t about becoming someone new; it’s about reclaiming who you’ve always been. My role is not to have all the answers but to help you unearth the wisdom already within you.
My own healing journey began two decades ago, shaped by early experiences of emotional, mental, and physical abuse. Despite my best efforts to move forward, life had a way of bringing unhealed wounds back to the surface. A difficult marriage, the weight of my former spouse’s addictions and abuse, and a moment of profound loss brought me face to face with truths I could no longer outrun. I confronted a resounding truth: Unhealed wounds will invariably resurface until they are confronted and mended. Healing wasn’t just something I wanted—it became something I had to choose, again and again.

In December 2021, my life changed forever. A tragic, freak accident occurred that left another person’s life lost and mine shattered. The weight of grief, shame, and suicidal thoughts nearly consumed me. My life was spared and I was cut from my car with the jaws of life. Not ironically, I wanted to be anything but alive at that moment but God had other plans and for that I am eternally grateful. Even after years of deep personal work, I found myself in the depths of suffering. Yet, even there, I was not abandoned. This drove me deeper into inner work and that lead me to getting certified as an Elementum life coach under the tutelage of Master Coaches- Preston Smiles, Alexi Panos, Christine Hassler, Stefanos Sifandos and others. I also got certified as a Breathwork and Somatic healing facilitator and I am affiliated with SPIRITUS breathwork as well as, IPHM- International Practioners of Holistic Medicine.
That moment, as painful as it was, became a doorway. It led me deeper into healing, into my training as a life coach, and ultimately, into a courtroom where I was sentenced to prison.
Those days on the inside changed me forever. I saw the women around me not as labels, but as mothers, daughters, business owners, dance partners and friends. I witnessed the resilience of the human spirit in the most unexpected places. Gratitude—real, unshakable gratitude—began to bloom in my heart. Three weeks before my release, I sat in my cell, praying, when a laugh rose up from deep within me. Somehow, in the middle of everything, I had found joy. I had been given new eyes to see the world—not through the lens of suffering, but through the lens of true gratitude, love, and grace.
I don’t believe healing is about perfection or never struggling again. I know what it feels like to watch life crumble, to gather the pieces, only to see them turn to ash once more. I also know that even in the wreckage, there is a way through. True transformation doesn’t come from avoiding pain—it comes from moving through it with radical honesty, surrender, and love. Healing is not about fixing what is “broken.” It’s about integrating every part of you—the messy, the tender, the powerful—so that you can walk in your wholeness.
My work centers on inner child healing, parts work, polarity, brainspotting, and somatic embodiment, guiding you back home to yourself. Whether you are seeking to heal past wounds, embrace your true self, or navigate a life transition, I am here to guide you with compassion and understanding.
As a coach and healer, I am but a vessel. It is my hope to help you see that your "broken" parts are what make you strong and to walk next to you as you walk back home to who you truly are and have always been. Thank you for allowing me to be part of your journey. Together, we can explore the depths of your soul and illuminate the path toward your greatest freedom. I invite you to get excited about what’s ahead- it will be beautiful!
